Wallpaper instructions Papermoon Non-woven Wall Murals
Before you start wallpapering, check whether you have received everything. Lay out all the parts and put them in the correct order. Check whether all parts fit together properly. You will see guide lines between the individual strips so that you can easily cut the strips with scissors. For orientation purposes, the quantity of each number is indicated at the top. If you have not received the correct product or something is missing, please report this to our customer service immediately (once it has been stuck to the wall, you can no longer complain about the photo wallpaper). Allow the wallpaper to acclimatize for 24 hours before applying to prevent shrinkage.
1. Surface preparation
The wall on which the photo wallpaper is pasted must be smooth, grease-free, dry and clean, just like with regular wallpaper. For a nice, sleek result, we also recommend removing old wallpaper and not sticking wallpaper over wallpaper. Tip; make sure that the surface is light and has an even color so that it cannot shine through. The desired temperature in the room is between 18-21ºC so that the wallpaper does not dry too quickly and therefore come loose from the wall. Draw a perpendicular line on the wall so that your wallpaper does not hang crookedly.
2. Prepare glue
Use the supplied wallpaper paste. Mix the paste as follows: 100 g in 2 liters of cold water. Sprinkle the paste into cold water and stir briskly for 30 seconds. Wait 3 minutes and stir well again. Let the paste sit for 15-20 minutes and stir well again before use.
3. Apply glue
Apply the glue directly to the wall with a wallpaper roller. Preferably glue 1 to 2 strips in advance, so that the glue does not dry out prematurely.
4. Wallpapering
Apply the strips carefully. Do you have air bubbles? Rub it out to the side with a spatula or a wallpaper pressure roller. You can puncture large air bubbles with a pin and small air bubbles often disappear when drying. Tip; use a wallpaper seam roller for an even tighter result.
